Pascal Daloz is Chairman of Exalead. He has been EVP of Strategy & Marketing at Dassault Systèmes since 2007 and in charge of the activities under the brand 3DVIA since the beginning of 2008.
He joined Dassault Systèmes in 2001 as Research & Development Director in charge of business development, and was nominated Vice President of Strategy and Business Development in 2003. Mr. Daloz brings ten years of experience in strategy with investment banking and consulting firms, including four years at Credit Suisse First Boston Technology Group and five years at Arthur D. Little.
Laurent Couillard is CEO of EXALEAD, Dassault Systèmes' brand for Search Based Innovation. Mr. Couillard joined Dassault Systèmes as an application engineer in 1996, most recently serving as Vice-President Sales and Distribution for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. In that post, he played a central role in the sales transformation of 3DS, establishing a powerful reseller channel for all PLM brands and contracting with more than 140 companies. As CEO of EXALEAD, his mission is to accelerate the market penetration of applications based on search technologies. Mr. Couillard holds a M.S. from Sup'Aero (Institut Supérieur de l'Aéronautique et de l'Espace) in Toulouse, France.
François Bourdoncle, a pioneer of the search engine software market, co-founded Exalead in 2000 to revolutionize the search engine software market. Mr. Bourdoncle, who has an extensive background in engineering and research and development, played a leading role on the LiveTopics project for AltaVista while at Ecole des Mines de Paris. He was also a senior researcher with Digital Paris Research Laboratory and Digital Systems Research Center in Palo Alto, California. Mr. Bourdoncle earned a Ph.D in Computer Science from Paris-based Ecole Polytechnique and is an author and a frequent speaker at industry events.
Patrice Bertin, co-founder and CTO, leads the evolution and development of Exalead's information access platform. Mr. Bertin has extensive experience in information access architecture design and implementation from his leading work at Alta Vista and other major software companies. Bertin has a Ph.D in Computer Science from Paris-based Ecole Polytechnique.
With 30 years of IT experience with firms including Accenture and Ernst&Young where he was a Partner, Mr. Mainbourg served as Chief Information Officer of Total, and most recently, as a Vice-President at Capgemini. He is also an IT professor at Ecole Centrale Paris. He graduated from Ecole Centrale Paris and holds a degree in economics from the Sorbonne University.
Ludovic Monchal joined Exalead as Chief Financial Officer in 2011. Prior to Exalead, Mr. Monchal has been a Director at Deloitte in Audit and M&A Transaction Services and held several finance executive positions within Dassault Systemes where he was successively Chief Financial Officer for DELMIA, a company based in Detroit, and Chief Financial Officer for ENOVIA a company based in Boston. Ludovic Monchal holds a BS in Economics and a Masters Degree in Finance from Euromed Management in Marseille.
Morgan Zimmerman is responsible for sales strategy execution and market penetration in all geographic regions and industry sectors, from Online Business to Manufacturing. Morgan joined Exalead in 2006 as VP Business Development, successfully developing strategic new markets for Exalead technologies. Prior to joining Exalead, Mr. Zimmerman led the telecom division at Cril Telecom Software. Within 5 years, he transformed Cril Telecom from a French niche player to a global leader in transmission planning through agreements with major infrastructure vendors and tier 1 pan-European and international operators.
Nicolas Dessaigne joined Exalead as Product Management Director in 2010 and is now in charge of all R&D activities. His mission is to ensure Exalead products set the standard for innovation and excellence in the SBA market. Prior to joining Exalead, Nicolas was Chief Technology Officer at Arisem, a Thales company recognized for the quality and performance of its Text Mining products. Nicolas holds an M.S. from ESIEA and a Ph.D in Computer Science from Nantes University.
Carole joined Exalead as Marketing Director in 2002, and is now responsible for directing marketing and communications operations worldwide. A graduate of the French business school HEC, Carole has played an instrumental role in transitioning Exalead from a new market entrant to a search industry leader. Her mission is to work closely with the executive team and the sales team to attain new levels of revenue growth and customer loyalty in all regions and markets.
